One World Artisans invite you to join them for a holiday craft sale being held at the Mohawk Resource Center for Refugees on Friday, December 9th from 10 am until 4 pm. Members of the One World Artisans will have a variety of their handmade goods available for purchase at the event.
The artisan group is comprised of many individuals from the refugee and immigrant communities that have resettled in Utica, New York. Our artisans represent various communities including the Karen, Sudanese, Yemeni, and Afghani communities. The artisans have joined this group to practice their traditional and contemporary art forms, such as weaving, jewelry making, photography and sewing. They create these handmade, one of a kind items to share with their surrounding community. This is a great opportunity to purchase unique and handcrafted gifts for your friends and family!
There is no need to RSVP to the holiday craft sale; simply come to the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees from 10am until 4pm to show your support. A wide selection of handmade items will be available for sale, and One World Artisans accepts both cash and credit and debit transactions. For more information, please contact Jenn Cieslewitz at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
